This is the moment a BBC weatherman was left red-faced after being caught sticking his middle finger up at his colleagues live on TV.
Tomasz Schafernaker was spotted giving the obscene gesture to breakfast show presenters Simon McCoy and Fiona Armstrong.
Realising his actions have been caught on camera, the shocked weatherman frantically attempts to disguise the gesture by scratching his chin – to the amusement of Armstrong.
A BBC spokesman told The Daily Mail: “Tomasz was not aware that he was on air, and whilst the gesture was only shown for a second, it was not acceptable.”
