Cambridge students booking tickets for winter ball redirected… to a transexual PORN site

Cambridge students trying to book tickets for their winter ball are being wrongly directed to a webpage – for transexual porn.

Students at exclusive Selwyn College were stunned when they tried to access the Selwyn Snowball website but instead end up on the graphic hardcore pornography fetish site.

The two sites have similar names but the Cambridge page is written as www.selwynsnowball.co.uk while the x-rated shemale site has a .com address.

It is feared the porn webpage called “Shemale And F**king” pinched the same name as a means for generating more traffic.

The site states: “Daily updated thumbnail picture and movie galleries!”

It also has a diverse collection of content ranging from “First time with shemale”, “Porn Archive Fetish Content”, and “Pantyhose shemales Transvestites Tranny”.

The bizarre mix up came to light after third year music student Adam Gray posted the link Facebook.

He said: “I have to say, I was pretty astonished when I stumbled across it – I almost dropped my skinny chai latte!”

Tom Walsh, president of the snowball, said the college had no intention to take action against the porn kings cyber squatting on their name.

He said: “Back in 2011, someone decided that the Snowball website gets enough traffic for it to be worth misdirecting some of its visitors.

“They weren’t wrong – this year, the official website has received thousands of hits.

“In response to this unprecedented demand we have been given College approval to release an additional 100 Standard tickets for sale.

“Given the rate at which our initial allocation sold out, we expect these to be gone within the next week.

“We’d rather spend our guests’ £69 on great food, drink and entertainment than on pursuing a slightly dodgy company from LA.

“Nevertheless, we apologise for any upset that may be caused to people who actively type in the .com address”
