The Porsche 911 that Man United and England legend David Beckham drove in the early days of his relationship with future wife Victoria is up for sale, it emerged today.

David Beckham's first ever supercar for sale

Becks bought the Porsche in August 1997 as a fresh-faced 22-year-old and famously drove his first supercar from the Cheshire showroom with ‘Posh Spice’ in the passenger seat.

He owned the Porsche during the most tumultuous time of his colourful career – through the troubled period after being sent off in the 1998 World Cup and then during the ecstasy of winning the treble with Man United in 1999.

It’s also rumoured to be the car Becks was first seen publicly kissing Posh Spice in.

The Porsche 911 993 Carrera 2S is unlike Beckham’s extensive fleet of supercar as it’s not been customised or ‘blinged up’ like his other motors.

It also comes in the specially ordered zenith blue metallic paintjob.

Fitted with a 3.6-litre engine, Becks’ Porsche develops 285bhp and is capable of 0-62mph (100kph) in 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 171mph.

The Porsche, which has covered just 28,000 miles, is being sold by Essex-based Porsche specialist Paul Stephens who are inviting offers on the vehicle.

Typical models of this age go for between £30,000 and £40,000 but a car previously owned by Beckham can add tens of thousands to the value.

His BMW M3, which he traded in to buy this Porsche, famously went for £90,000 when it was advertised on eBay.

Sam Cooke, from Paul Stephens, said: ”As well as being a famous and important car, it is a rather nice one.

”Mr Beckham successfully avoided the over-exuberant bling that blights many of today’s footballer-owned cars, choosing it with no small amount of taste and style.

”This is an exceptional opportunity to own what we consider to be Beckham’s nicest car and probably the most famous that he has owned.”

About the kissing, I saw them in his M3 many times near harrods and kings road. Was lucky to see them kiss in the M3. So don’t add spices for this 4S
