The pair will be joining sole remaining judge Amanda Holden when the ITV talent show returns to our screens next spring.

Cowell, who has left to concentrate on launching US X Factor, will appear as a part-time judge only during the live shows.

Morgan has left the programme to work solely on his new late night CNN talk show.

Mcintyre, 34, told The Daily Mail: “I’m a massive fan of Britain’s Got Talent and am extremely excited to be a judge on the new series.

“I was so thrilled when Simon Cowell asked me that I immediately wanted to run in to Ant and Dec’s arms to celebrate.”

His new co-star Hasselhoff, 58, has already had plenty of experience in the judge’s seat after sitting on the America’s Got Talent judging panel for four years until he quite last year.

The Baywatch legend has battled drink problems in the past and recently suffered further embarrassment when his reality TV show was cancelled after just one episode.

Auditions for the next series of Britain’s got talent begin in London on January 4.
