The King of Rock and Roll’s personal Mercedes-Benz 600 is up for grabs at an auction run by Bonhams at Brooklands, Surrey.

It is one of a handful of cars owned by Presley and registered in his name and has been lovingly restored.

The five-door powder blue saloon has attracted a pre-sale estimate of up to £200,000.

It is being sold alongside a 2000 Ferrari 550 GTZ at the Important Motor Cars and Fine Automobilia auction at Mercedes-Benz World in Brooklands, Surrey, on December 6.

Presley kept the car, which was one of two Mercedes-Benz 600’s he owned, for two years before giving it to friend James Leroy Robertson.

It was purchased by the current owner in 2005 from Robertson Motors Memphis, and imported to Britain.

The Ferrari 550 GTZ is one of only five examples of the car bodied by the famous Italian Carrozzeria Zagato and the only Right Hand Drive example.

James Knight, Group Head of Bonhams Motoring department, said the new venue for its end of year auction will attract many new bidders.

He added: ”I am really excited about this venue – it ticks every box for us, our sellers and buyers.”
