Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to appear in The Simpsons

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is celebrating his social network recording its 500 millionth user by recording a guest role in The Simpsons.

According to New York Mag, 26-year-old Zuckerberg will play himself in forthcoming episode ‘Loan-a-Lisa’ where Lisa and Nelson bumping into the computer genius at an entrepreneur’s convention.

It’s understood Zuckerberg reminds the kids how many famous billionaires – including himself and Microsoft’s Bill Gates – have dropped out of school. The rest of the plot is top secret but expect him to be sporting his trademark flip-flops.

The world’s youngest self-made billionaire will be following the likes of Tom Hanks, Ben Stiller and 50 Cent in appearing on the famous cartoon when it’s aired in October.

Other notable faces appearing in the 22nd series of America’s longest-running sitcom include Brit stars Daniel Radcliffe and Russell Brand.

Facebook recorded its 500 millionth earlier this week meaning eight per cent of the world’s population uses the website. Celebrate by sharing this story!
