This is the heart-stopping moment a dog-walker had a lucky escape after casually ducking out of the way to narrowly avoid being decapitated by a lorry.

Shocking dash-cam footage captured the terrifying near-miss, which took place on a busy high street in Brownhills, West Mids., on June 3.

Witnesses can be seen recoiling in horror as the woman escapes being mowed down by the 20-tonne truck as it swung across the pavement turning a corner.

But the cool-headed woman appears unphased by her near-death experience as she nonchalantly ducks out of the way and begins chatting to other commuters.

The incident was caught on camera by businessman Anthony Hamilton-Clarke, 43, who runs car accessories business Auto Elite, in Shenstone, Staffs.

The video has been shared more than 600 times on the company’s Facebook page, prompting calls from customers and members of the public to find the driver.

Mr Hamilton-Clarke said: “It was so dangerous – you shouldn’t be able to do that.

“The back of the lorry passed right by her head. It was horrific.

“We haven’t found anyone yet but the video has had a lot of attention.

“I caught the moment on a dashboard camera that I was testing out at the time, which was quite fortunate.

“I do think the driver needs to be found, it was incredibly dangerous what happened.

“The woman was really really lucky, it is incredible really.

“She stayed so cool though and just starts chatting to people nearby.

“I don’t think she realised how close she came to being killed.”
