Honeydew Health rolls out absence management software to the education sector

Honeydew Health yesterday announced that it has expanded into the education sector with Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College its first client after the end of a successful trial for its absence management software.

Honeydew Health provides programs and call centre services to help SMEs and large corporation’s record, measure and monitor planned and unplanned staff absences including sickness and holidays.

The firm recently launched Absencehub.com – software designed to manage staff away on holiday or sick.

Airline Cathay Pacific is among a number of multinationals using the software and Honydew will now be rolling it out to Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College – with more across the UK expected to also join.

Managing Director Malene Nielsen said: ‘At a time when many colleges are facing substantial cuts and redundancies, we aim to help them bring about cost effective savings by increasing the engagement and productivity of the staff.

‘Our Day 1 absence management service is all about ensuring speedy intervention to minimise long-term sickness absence, which is a huge cost burden on both public and private sector organisations.’

Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College is the first education sector client for Honeydew Health, which primarily works with manufacturing, facility management, and logistics companies to reduce absence and increase productivity.
