The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was targeted by Twitter trolls after she announced she was pregnant

Vile trolls took to the internet to spread messages of hate about Kate and Wills – minutes after Buckingham Palace released the joyous news she is pregnant.

Dozens of people posted hateful messages about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on social networking sites like Twitter.

Nicholas Godfrey, from Plymouth, tweeted: “Kate Middleton you whore”

One troll, from Reading, wrote: “OMG KATE MIDDLETON IS PREGNANT… Another c**t to live off our taxes.”

While Tom Dolby, from Manchester, tweeted: “Kate Middleton is pregnant, William is a right c**t.”

Some evil Twitter users even created a hashtag #slut to make it easier for other sick-minded individuals to spread their hateful opinions.

James Allen wrote: “Kate Middleton is pregnant? #slut”

One user, who goes by the name ‘Matthew’ tweeted: “So basically Kate Middleton, doesn’t work, lives off someone else’s money and just got knocked up. She’s like a 16year old whore.”

Kate, who was rushed to hospital yesterday (Mon) with acute morning sickness, is expected to stay in the King Edward VII hospital in London for several days.

Rumours abounded about whether the newlyweds were pregnant, after Kate, 30, shunned champagne at a reception she hosted in September.

One internet prankster set up a fake Twitter account called @iamroyalbaby.

Within minutes, the account had over 1,000 followers.

The Royal Baby tweeted: “Hey everyone, it’s me. I can confirm I am not ginger.”
