Two teenagers and a toddler killed in a devastating house fire have had their organs donated – to at least NINE people.

Tragic Rosie Bennellick, 17, her boyfriend Andy Gunn, 18, and her little brother Harvey Bennellick, three, all perished when their home was engulfed in flames.

In the wake of the horror blaze in Honiton, Devon, the two grieving families took the heartbreaking decision to make their organs available to doctors.

Close friend Fiona Beaumont revealed that at least nine patients had so far received organs from the tragic trio.

Rosie’s heart was transplanted into an 18-month-old baby, Andy’s heart saved a 50-year-old man and little Harvey’s heart went to another child.

Ms Beaumont said college student Rosie had previously expressed her wish to be an organ donor.

She said: “Their parents are of course devastated but they’re so proud of them for the gift they have given to others.

“In agreeing to the donation, their parents gave up their wish to hold them to the end. But they know their children are living on in others.

“They have saved other parents from going through the heartache they’re going through. I’ll always be in awe of them.

“What they’ve done is amazing. People are overwhelmed to hear about this. It’s an amazing gift, it’s hard to put into words.”

Rosie, Andy and Harvey were among eight people pulled from the burning property on April 5.

Police are yet to reveal what caused the deadly blaze but they are not treating it as suspicious.

Five surviving members of the Bennellick family issued a tribute in the wake of the tragedy describing how they had lost two “beautiful babies”.

Andy’s family, from Bishopsteignton, Devon, said in their own statement: “He died along with his girlfriend Rosie who was the love of his life. He had his whole life in front of him.”
