Pensioners injured after minibus crash

EIGHT pensioners were injured – one of them seriously – after their minibus crashed today.

The elderly group’s vehicle hit a Range Rover, in the rural parish of Bleadon, Somerset, at 10.30am.

An air ambulance took one woman to hospital with serious injuries – believed to be a broken hip.

Police cordoned off roads around the crash scene and helped the rest of the walking wounded to safety.
