How could she refuse? Bride marries bin man who turned up to wedding in a RUBBISH TRUCK

When a bin man asked his girlfriend to marry him she didn’t ‘refuse’ his proposal – and arrived for her special day in a RUBBISH TRUCK.

Hannah Nuttall, 24, wanted something different to make her big day extra special.

So she turned up at Swindon Register Office in a dustbin van to marry Will Banyard, 28, who has been a refuse collector for three years.

She said: “I always wanted to do something different on my wedding day to make it stand out and we thought nobody would have turned up in a dustbin van.

“Will has worked as a dustbin man for three years and we wanted to keep the budget down, so rather than paying a lot for a fancy car we thought it would be a great idea.

“The reaction we have had is great and it is just something else to remember the day by.”

After tying the knot, the newlyweds had hoped to go and watch Swindon Town after the ceremony with Hannah still in her wedding dress.

But because of the Easter weekend, Swindon’s game was switched to Friday so they decided to jump back into the dustbin van and make their way to The Victoria pub in Old Town for the reception.

The couple have been together for a year and a half with Will proposing at the Download Festival in June last year as they watched Hannah’s favourite band, Black Sabbath.

Hannah added: “I was already crying because Black Sabbath are my favourite band, so it was a big shock.

“I said yes straight away but then I had to check with Will whether he had just asked me to marry him.

“It made the whole festival very special.”
