A rugby player has been banned for biting the PENIS of an opponent during a match.

Hooker Anthony Watts, 27, was playing for Tugun Seahawks again Bilambil Jets during the clash in Australia.

He was charged by officials after allegedly biting a rival’s genitals who was seen to reel with pain.

Watts, who denied the claim, was banned for eight matches following an investigation by the Gold Coast Rugby League.

A league statement said: “After the judiciary panel reviewed footage as well as reports from medical staff and match officials, it found Watts guilty of contrary conduct.

“He has been suspended from playing until the completion of the eighth round of the 2014 season.”
