A stunning surf babe rides an 11ft wave – in the middle of the desert.

Sally Fitzgibbons put her amazing body through its paces in a specially-designed wave pool built in the scorching Arabian desert.

She braved 50 degree heat to show off her skills in this incredible promo stunt in the Wadi Adventure pool, the first man-made whitewater rafting, kayaking and surf centre in Dubai.

Sally, 21, said: “It’s a wild experience sitting in the scorching hot desert in a pool staring at this concrete wall waiting for your next wave to fire out at you.

“It definitely brought to life one of those dreams you have when you’re a grom [beginner surfer] – endless amounts of waves all to yourself.”
