Everyone loves a record breaker – no matter where they are in the world.

In 2012 Takeru Kobayashi ate 110 hotdogs in 10 minutes at the New York State Fair. The Padaung people of Myanmar wear 5kg of necklaces. And senior citizen Isobel Varley revealed that 93% of her body was tattooed, on an Italian television programme in 2009.

These are just three examples of the extremes of the human body and there are many more people from across the planet who have achieved bizarre and fantastic records of a similar nature.
