Kids can now ‘use the force’ when playing with pals – thanks to new Star Wars Scalextric sets.

The most action-packed chases from the original sci-fi trilogy have been brought to life by the slot-car toy company, as slot-car racing heads into space.

Luke Skywalker blowing up the Death Star at the end of Star Wars is one of the best sequences in film history, and the Death Star Attack set can bring that excitement home, allowing two people to race spaceships at high speed along the specially designed track.

Racing as either an X-wing fighter or Darth Vader’s TIE-Fighter, players can bash each other off the track when overtaking, making the iconic toy even more exciting.

Priced £69.99 this set, which has working lights in the racing spaceships, is sure to be a big hit this Christmas.

The glow-in-the-dark mini track allows users to create their own course, to create their ultimate Star Wars space battle.

The £99.99 Battle of Endor set features two bikes from Return of the Jedi chasing along a specially camouflaged track, and took over two years to design and develop.

“The combination of our slot racing system together with the iconic characters and vehicles from the Star Wars universe is truly unique. And together, the Force is even stronger!”
