Stolen mobile phone ‘wasn’t good enough’ for robbers

Two robbers stole a mobile phone in a street robbery – and then handed it BACK because it wasn’t good enough.

The pair threatened a man in Weston-super-Mare, Somerset, in the early hours of April 12 and ordered him to hand over cash and his mobile phone.

But they gave the handset back before making off with a small amount of cash.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: ”Apparently the phone wasn’t good enough so they handed it back to him and ran off.”
