The Manchester United and England star, 25, had the op at a top London clinic to cure his receding hair line.

Rooney then uploaded a picture of his newly covered scalp to his 780,000 followers as he travelled to the airport where he’s flying to Barbados for his summer holiday.

He tweeted: ”Hi all there’s my head. It will take a few months to grow. Still a bit bloody to. But that’s all normal.”

The star had previously refused pleas to show his new barnet off due to the bruising and swelling, instead joking if anyone ”knew any decent hair gels”.
