Offered: $1 million to streak past Barack Obama

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

An eccentric billionaire yesterday offered $1 million to the first person willing to streak in front of US President Barack Obama.

Moneybags Alki David has promised to hand over the cash to anyone who carries out the dare – providing they write his website ”Battlecam” across their chest.

The prank must be streamed live on Battlecam – a site where people can upload videos a community hub for David’s TV on demand Web site FilmOn.

He initially offered 100,000 (US dollars) but increased the sum to 1million to include any legal fees which may be incurred.

He said: ”Most people in the community thought the 100,000 wasn’t enough for the audacity of the dare.

”One million is a nice, round number and that gets people’s attention a lot more.”

Actor, producer and entrepreneur Alki’s most recent film was The Bank Job, last year’s British gangster thriller based on the true story of the 1971 Baker Street bank robbery.

He is a billionaire heir to a shipping and bottle-plant fortune and is ranked number 45 on The Times Rich List.

Alki divides his time between a Greek mansion, a ski lodge in Gstaad, Switzerland, and three multi-million-pound homes he owns in Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Hampstead.
